A Different Stripe was created exclusively to support LGBTQ+ youth through the work at Zebra Coalition. All proceeds from the sales of these shoes go directly to Zebra Coalition.
About Zebra Coalition
The mission of Zebra Coalition is to support and inspire LGBTQ+ youth. They are a network of organizations, which provide services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and all youth (LGBTQ+) ages 13 – 24.
The Coalition assists young people facing homelessness, bullying, isolation from their families, and physical, sexual, and drug abuse with individualized programs to guide them to recovery and stability.

Quite simply, shoes should be genderless. US shoe sizes don't accommodate this outlook, so we've adapted EU sizing.

Sustainability is important to Kicks for a Cause. We’re getting greener every step of the way, while still providing you with the quality products you deserve.
Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. What’s more, one in every five items produced by the fashion industry reaches landfills without being worn even once.
As Kicks for a Cause works with on-demand suppliers, we only produce items we get an order for, avoiding textile waste from overproduction.
Additionally, We use Kornit printers that generate almost zero wastewater and use less energy than standard industry printers, which lowers our carbon footprint.
The inks we use for printing are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free of harmful chemicals. Kicks for a Cause takes care to properly dispose of any left-over ink according to the ink supplier guidelines.
